Are there any differences between them? I got a redeem code today for the public beta but been running, in a different hard drive, the DP since the first one.

The only difference is that there is a Feedback Assistant which is not necessary as you can also report bugs at bugreport.apple.com

The Feedback assistant is in Dev Preview also ... Dev Preview will be updated more often than Public Beta ...
Dev preview is on 2 week update timeframe and Public Beta is likely on Monthly update timeframe ..

Check the build number in System Information, for example the Beta is;
OS X 10.10 (14A299l)
