It shouldn't be necessary to post this, but already I see screen shots posted from the simulator, etc.

Think twice before posting screen shots, excerpts from developer documentation, details that have not been publicly released, etc. It's a violation of your developer agreement, and could get you booted from the program or worse.

Just a word to the wise. Not only is it a violation, but you're publicly documenting it.

(Downloading the SDK now, so I'll be shutting up with any speculation, as what I read would almost certainly leak through no matter how hard I try...)

You still want to do it - hey, it's up to you. The rest of us thank you for putting the info into the public so that it can be discussed. ;)

BTW, the Apple developer forums are down, as is usual when a beta SDK is released. Hopefully back up in a day or two, as this is where you can discuss 3.2 freely.

I'm dying to find out about RAM, but given that the 3GS has 256M, don't think it's going to be a big limitation. I hope they double that, and I'd be happy.

Reading some of the material now, and lots of answers to be found. But not shared. :(
