numerous times i do this, i get confused !

i got a developer account from my admin. means i cant create app ids, :)

there are 3 things wwdr, csr and .mobileprovision

.mobileprovision resides in mobile device , correct ?

wwdr and the .cer we get by submitting csr reside in mac, correct ?

that means app ids , hence .mobileprovision file should not be required if i just want to make a device build, correct ? [i am building, error free, not deploying/debugging as yet]

only when I try to deploy and debug .mobileprovision file should be required. correct ?

just because i get a errer

"Code Sign error: a valid provisioning profile matching the application's Identifier 'JQOOUYTI.myapp' could not be found"

is there any way to get further detailed info, what could be wrong ? I need to give some exact reasoning to my admin to have me created the necessary files

This makes me think you are trying to build using development settings, but without a provisioning certificate available, or only half the settings are in place. I would check the build settings one more time.

Thanks for the response, albeit i had solved it by the time I read it :D .

It turned out to be bundle identifier, which is most important in the process. It should match the provisioning profile's
