Diablo 3 - Hell is coming upon consoles

Big fan since the original. Liked playing it on consoles though from the couch.

I haven't heard anything about a XBone release - right now it's only going to be on the PS3 and Xbox 360. I also haven't heard anything about the XboxOne's ability to play Xbox 360 titles - don't count on it.
A PS4 release is going to happen though but not for a while though.
Me, I will be getting it on release for the 360 since it will be a birthday present for myself - it's actually coming out on my b-day!

I liked Diablo 3 but it had some major flaws... almost all of them dealing with the instant gratification auction house. Guess what isn't in the console version?

Any idea when they're going to drop the DRM and auction house for the PC/Mac version? Or have they already?
I've already played through it on the PC so I really have no interest in playing it again on my PS3. Besides im far too busy with FFXIV/Tales of Xilla/Project Diva F to keep taking on more games.
Quite honestly I'm done buying games for my PS3, unless they send me a product demo the next game I'll get will be for my PS4.

But... but... I already have it for my Mac and would love to be able to play it without net connection.
I was hoping to pick it up tonight at a midnight release but Gamestop is not doing a midnight release where I did my pre-order. I wasn't a very happy camper but oh well.
