I have been given a powerbook g4 that is faulty. Does anyone have any advice of how to check Logic board for fault finding (New chips, capacitors etc?)
Or tips workguides etc?
I have previous experience of reballing/soldering PC motherboards
And I would like to do the same with this mac powerbook.
The issue with the powerbook that i have is no power whatsoever. there is power to the logic board but no other function.

Thanks for your help.
Mike

Careful visual inspection? If you can't see anything wrong with it, chances are you won't be able to find anything to fix.
