I have a 2.66 UB MBP. A week ago I was connecting it to my Samsung HD Tv either with a VGA adapter or HDMI adapter. Both were connected to the minidisplay port. Yesterday I got nothing when I tried both. I also tried to connect both to a external HP monitor and got nothing. The error message I get is no signal from any of the four cables. My question is is there anyway to diagnose the minidisplay port? My guess is I need to get the book to a repair center and check it out. Thankfully the book is only a few months old.

Apple Hardware Test. On startup, press and hold the "D" key until the AHT loads up. That might or might not help but I don't know any other way of troubleshooting if there is a problem.

No go

I called Apple and they said the hardware test as well as the pram. Tried both with no luck in fixing or figuring out the trouble. So off to the repair shop this week.
