Diagnostics test doesn't run since 10.13.16 Update

I just attempted to run a diagnostics test on my IMac Pro by restarting the computer and holding the "D" key. I have tried this multiple times and the diagnostic test screen never appears. It just boots normally. I know this worked before but it isn't now. Tested on another IMac Pro with 10.13.6 and had the same problem.
