Dictation offline possible?

    Hey, what i really want to know is, if the new dictation feature can be used offline. Would be to good for using it in school :D

    I sincerely doubt it. That being said, doesn't your school have wifi?

    I also doubt it, but theres still hope :D Not no wifi and i can forget the speed my handy tether to it in the school.. Hmm could someone with the ML Developer preview please try that out?

    From my experience, it does require an Internet connection. It works really really well, but only when it's quiet. If I start playing music it starts mixing lyrics with my words XD

    Apple specifically states that your voice commands must be sent to Apple for processing, so internet is always required. This is how Siri works on the iPhone.
