Running:-

iPhone 6 with latest 8.4 public beta
Apple Watch with OS 1.01

What arrived 10 days ago and I've been using Siri and text dictation on it frequently and with great results. Until yesterday, when Siri and text dictation both stopped working. The "graph" in text dictation moves with sound, the whole to-and-fro line in Siri also starts up after I stop speaking, but neither produce text and both eventually time out with "sorry I can't" type messages.

I really don't want to restore my iPhone as new, but I have tried:-

Rebooted both phone and watch.
Restored watch from backup.
Restored watch as a new watch.

Any other ideas?

Does Siri work on your phone by itself?

I had this problem and yesterday I decided to call Apple support before sending the watch back. The tech made me unpair the watch, then pair it back and then go to the watch app on my iPhone and change the settings, under messages, to "dictation or audio" and it fixed the problem. Of course this is a new product and the techs are very clueless yet but they finally helped me. Hope this works for you all. Good luck!!
