does anyone else really use the dictionary widget?

i've noticed recently that it's useless. the main reason i use it is to check if i've spelled something correctly..and it doesn't tell you if you've made a mistake..it just says 'no word found'. they should really add a suggestion system into it..

i know it's bad, but i've come to rely on google for spelling. sometimes i'll just spell the word wrong on purpose (to save me having to think too much) and then let google fix it.

soon kids won't have any idea how to spell

If you start typing a word, press enter, then press the letter on the left side you get a list of all words starting with those letters... Not unlike an ordinary dictionary...

I find cmd+ctrl+d to be the best way of using dictionary.

You press that combination and then, while still holding cmd+ctrl, hover the mouse over any and you'll get a definition. :)
