mine does it on 9400 when computer is cold from startup, goes away after 10 minutes. But the 9600 is more constant, especially when computer is hot.

never seen on 9400 but I don't keep my mbp switched off very often. moreover I don't understand why the cpu increase its temperature when I'm on 9600...

this is not the problem this is normal it depends on the LCD pixel polarizations

Sorry but i don't think i get this website. However, when i connect the MBP to apple HD cinema display, the flikers are slightly less obvious. also when i view the site with my black macbook it is sightly less obvious. i.e it is more prominent with MBP screen. Why is that?

Its just a hardware problem that needs to be fixed since I noticed that the flickering screen issue still persists after 3 updates 10.5.5, 10.5.6 and now 10.5.7 hasnt fixed it and probably be fixed in the next logic board update.

I'm quite pissed off
I'm sorry for sounding bitter but this thing drive me crazy

Hello

Sorry if I'm being dumb here but confused!!

On my Unibody MBP sometimes I see the whole screen dull and then brighten again in an almost split second.

I only see it at night when the lights are off and often I only see it out of the corner of my eye. I did think it was the ambient light sensor because there seems to be a correlation between the screen dulling when there is something bright on the TV.

So, do I have a (MBP) related problem or do you guys (and girls) think it is the ambient light sensor. As I say, I only really notice this out of the corner of my eye but it is there.

And it's still doing it with 10.5.7 on.

Sorry, if I appear a bit dumb!!

Thanks in advance.
