i know that not everyone is having this problem. My wife’s max didn’t have the issue at all. But mine does. And 12.0.1 didn’t fix it. Anyone else still having the issue after 12.0.1 update?

"Nope". I have wireless charging issues. It's starts charging, then lights the screen up and stops after 2-3 min, starts again after a min or two with another flash. Happens a few times. Considering it is beside my bed, it's frustration trying to sleep with the thing going into disco mode.

Didn’t have the problem before and don’t have it now either.

I believe a solution to charge gate is on YouTube already. You have to enable something and it is solved.

Have you tried a different wireless charger and cable?

The ones that never had the problems are the ones that are not waiting at least 10 seconds before they test IMO.

I thought my partners didn’t have the issue and mine did when I tested. And then I let hers rest for about 20secs and I plugged it in and it didn’t charge until I touched it

^^ this. Same experience with a colleague at work. Swore his phone was not affected. It was.

iOS 12.0.1 solved the issue for me though. So that is good.

The thing is that it really wasn’t a big deal for a lot of people. Mine was affected but didn’t even know about it till i read about it and tried it. No one knows about it cause we never charge our phone when it is asleep or has been. I am pretty sure 99% of people are always on it before they lay it down for the charge. When it would be a real big issue is if the phone died cause of no battery then you plug it in and it doesn’t work. Then we are talking “issue”. Lol

I only continue to have the issue if I have USB Accessories switched to off. Happens on X on 12.0.1 still.

While I'm sure that plenty mostly end up doing it that way (probably often without even thinking about it), plenty of others often do it the other way (also likely without even thinking about it).

But you didn’t have to enable something.. so that’s not the apparent solution.

My Belkin iPhone/watch combo charger from apple store still does not work. Xs charging cuts in and out.
