My point still stands.. From day 1 of an iPhone 4 you had nearly a 'quarter' of the phone you have today with a 6S or 6S+. Anyone still on a 4, even running iOS 5, would JUMP at the chance to be on a 6S/6S+.. there's just no comparison of any kind.
Well of course, I wasn't trying to suggest otherwise. Merely that the i4 was nowhere near as crap on iOS4, 5 and even 6 than it is on iOS7. The 6S and S+ are the best iPhones ever.

No, iOS7 killed the iPhone 4. I have one here.
I gave it to my father when I got the iPhone 5 and when I gave him my i5 he returned the i4. It's my only spare phone and it was once my favourite. Even my father hated iOS7 for killing 'his' iPhone 4. It slowed the thing down incredibly. Lag whilst typing, horrendous web browsing lag and the only thing it remained ok for was phonecalls/texts & apps. Some will disagree but I think iOS7 killed the iPhone 4. Few wouldn't have wanted to upgrade their phone the moment they installed it.
iOS 7 on the iPhone 4 was the only thing worse than any post-6 version on the iPad 3.

I know someone that was stuck with an iPhone 4 on iOS 7. It was "usable". As in, it powered on, did things, and didn't explode. The 4S on iOS 9 is infinitely better.

this may be the first phone with desktop-quality browser speeds. hell with 3D Touch I never even use the home button.

most responsive phone I've ever used, and I've had both android and iOS devices to compare to.

Geez, a thread was made about whether or not one uses 3D Touch and a decent amount of responses admitted they didn't. You don't use the home button, please elaborate how one gets around that as many may just end up using the feature to alleviate that home button.

I have used Assistive Touch ever since iOS6. The only time I use my home button is to wake the device, and to do a hard reset or enter DFU mode.

Most everything is working great on the 6s Plus for me. Although I have noticed some slight drop in frame rate on the 3D Touch quick menu on icons. Turning on reduce transparency results in a super smooth experience. This issue is also worse in 9.1 than it is in 9.0.2

pretty simple really, edge pop the app switcher; it can take you between apps and the home screen as well. on a 6S+ it can be a real pain in the ass reaching for the home button when you're holding it centered with one hand.
