Did 3.1 remove the yellow tint from your phone?

Its a screen temperature setting, even my tv has it where i can switch from 'warm' the yellow tint to 'cool' which has a more blue tint.

Well I upgraded to 3.1 and now my iPhone is a Palm Pre.

Therefore a simple settings change in 3.1 could remove it, it has nothing to do with the glass or any hardware. Its part of the software.

You all are seeing things - Color temp has not changed at all in this update. Trust me on that one. I am one that has been waiting for it. It has not come yet. Maybe later, if ever.

Exactly the same way you can change colors on just about every screen.

I had the yellow tint from looking from the right or from the and it looks less now than it was before. It was weird when I first got the 3gs it didn't have any tint. It's looking better now. But looking from the left or bottom has that sharp clear blue to it

I see what your saying, but how come when the 3GS first launched, people brought them back and their new replacement had a better/worse screen? They were running iPhone OS 3.0 too. I know it can be changed with SW, but some were different, even with the same SW.
