did an update, now i need a password for vm.

it seems like this happened once before many yrs ago.
i have a 3gs, did a big update, now the phone says i need a password to access my voice mail. i never had a password on my voice mail and don't know where/how to disable this feature.

i literally am on hold with apple right now and am afraid i'm going to have to leave before they get to me. any help would be greatly appreciated.

update: got through before i had to leave.

apple said v/m is a feature of my provider so i called att, and got cut off. so i called back and while on hold was searching online and found att support via chat. the support dude said try my last 4 digits of my phone number, if that didn't work use my 7 digit phone number.

before i was cut off from att on the phone i used their automated sys to 'reset' my p/w. when i accessed my msg's the first time after sending the reset request it allowed me to setup a new p/w so now i had access to the settings.

hope this helps anyone who runs into this prob.
