I didn't even think of that till now

And I have like 5 lightning cables for backup & to charge iphone in different places

Yes, I did. With an extra order. So I will have two at home (from the watch of my wife and my watch) and one at work.

Best regards

It says shipping 7 days for a charging cable ,so is not bad

I wonder if we are going to see third party charging cables ?

Is that even possible with the new circle charger

Thanks for reminding me. Just ordered a 2m cable. Will keep one at home and one in the car for when the watch needs a top up.

Why take a chance adding accessories to the initial order? Also we may see 3ed party charger pucks in a few weeks for a fraction of the price. If not I'll just pick one up then. Right now it is just about getting the :apple:Watch.

What do you mean by taking the chance? What could go wrong?

Why wait till then when we can have it ahead of the 3rd party companies. The cheaper the cable the chances it won't last as long, but that's going simply off my experiences with iPhone chargers.

I'll buy one for the car when they become available in store

This is exactly what I'm going to do. I work about 10 mins away from an Apple store so I'll grab one then.

Just did a seperate order, so no taking chances. I like the convenience, especially as I'll be wearing down that battery for the first couple of weeks so will want to have a cable with me from the get go! It's $AU59, I prefer to get the real deal on this so early on in the game :)

People are afraid, that an available Watch could be hold back until the cable is in stock to send both as one package.
But Apple won't do this. Anyway, I ordered the cable separate, just to be 100% sure :)

I don't buy it. If I need to charge it twice a day. Apple watch is definitely a failure.

Yes I made a separate preorder of the blue leather loop along with a 2m charge cable. I'll keep one permanently at home and the other with me in case I need to charge my watch on the go.

How long before we start seeing third party cheaper Apple watch charging cables

I did a seperate order for a charging cable. Did it separately after my watch order just to play it safe. I wanted a 2m but accidentally ordered a 1m. I'll keep it for car and just order another 2m.

I did the same. After my watch order went through I did a separate order for the extra cable. I am planning on leaving one at work to charge it while I sit at my desk.

I do expect to get my cable before my watch.

I bought one on a separate order but not sure at the moment where I am going to put it to use. I was thinking the car but not totally sure.

Good point but it's expensive... I want one tho. $29 vs $19. Besides I have more lightning adapter devices compared to the magport for only he watch. I'll buy another one for backup.

Yeah bought an extra one, you never know the bundled one might break then you're stuck unable to charge and use your watch for god knows how long.. (I live way far from an Apple store)

I like to keep one at home and then have a travel pouch of cables etc that stays together....now I never get to my destination without all the bits I need.
