I have seen mentioned in a few other threads that the total recognized RAM might be superior to the official 4 Gb, just like older minis could see 3 Gb instead of 2. Has anybody tried it yet?

    Thanks

the new minis basically have the same internals as the aluminum macbooks, which can officially use 4GB but unofficially have been shown to they can handle 6GB (2+4)

Except its EFI is probably different. And considering Apple's history of handicapping some of their computers, it would not surprise me if 4gb is the limit on the Mini. I guess we'll have to wait for someone to give it a try.
