It’s technically bigger but I believe only 0.2 inches. Does it feel bigger or the same? If it looks even slightly bigger then I will take it.

Pictured above is my green 13 next to my 17 Pro. You can see the size difference between the two. The 17 Pro is slightly bigger.

I upgraded from the 13Pro to the 17Pro, honestly I cannot tell the difference though it is slightly larger display. However the overall display is much better. You'll notice the difference in the display contrast and colors. The battery life in my 13Pro wasn't great (maybe age) but the 17Pro battery life is great. However if I had to do it again I think I would save some money and upgrade to the standard 17 as the displays are exactly the same, only difference is the camera system which I don't use that much.

As I am in Thailand, when I went to upgrade most shops didn't have the standard 17's in stock, they only had the Air and 17 Pro so I went with the 17 Pro.

Yea didn’t realize they were so similar. $300 cheaper is actually really huge. So you just one of the better zoom cameras I’m assuming. Slight drop in battery life. But also A19 vs A19Pro, dunno how much differences this makes?

For me personally it wouldn't be that big a deal in the minute differences, camera being the biggest difference for the cost differential. Display as you mentioned is the most important and the two models have the exact same specs

You also get 12GB of RAM which is going to make a huge difference within the next year or two.
If it wasn’t for the extra RAM I’d have gone with 17 instead of 17 Pro.

Saw this YouTube vid it’s also cooler with more ram. Video and pictures do look night and day. Idk Pro probably still worth it. It’ll def hold more resale value as well. And since I plan to maybe upgrade to the Air 2 if it’s got some solid upgrades then the Pro is prob the better choice for me.

Yea definitely see my reply up above. That vid laid out a lot of the differences. Still worth it I think. Also coming from the 13 Pro feel like the 17 Pro will actually feel like a legit upgrade. Time to start looking for a case, I think I’m going to pull the trigger on the Pro and grab it next week.

You don’t know how slow 13P is on iOS 26 until you use a 17P. And with all three cameras finally being 48MP, it’s definitely a solid upgrade.
Apps not constantly reloading due to the paltry 6GB RAM, AoD, and not having to struggle to read the screen under direct sunlight all add up.

If you can afford it, then definitely go for it. I’m quite happy with my Orange 17P.

It feels a bit bigger, I just don’t dig the pill cutout.
What I appreciate the most is the brighterscreen, better camera, and smoother edges.

Edit: Also like the telephoto, but mainly for documentation purposes.

Yea that’s where I’m leaning. That gorgeous “big” display of the Air does keep frickin tugging at me though I’m ngl. I know of all the shortcomings but wanting to upgrade from my 13 to a bigger display was the main priority. I went 17PM and returned it as it was too heavy and bulky. So here I am legit torn. I’m still leaning 17 Pro as the screens still a bit bigger but man, so many Airs in my YouTube Algo popping up on my feed and the displays gorgeous. Resale value seems like it’d be complete trash though as it’s already $750 used, and if there is a next gen id def want to sell and upgrade.

Keep in mind that while the display is noticeably larger, the dynamic island also uses up more vertical screen real estate compared to the notch. And compared to the 5.8" iPhones the UI is slightly enlarged as far as I know (not sure how this is compared to 6.1" devices).

So you might not see as much more content of a website or similar scrolling content as you might expect.

Yep! I finally upgraded a few months ago, but still kept my 13 Pro Max (hated to give that great phone up). The speed of the 17 Pro Max, is clearly faster compared to the older phone. No lag / jitters at all. The display on the 17 is just beautiful IMO, when you first use it...you'll notice immediately the slight larger screen, thinner bezels.

BUT the area where I really struggled outside in bright sunlight with the 13 PM, that's no longer an issue at all with the 17 Pro Max.

As for the body which was always a concern coming from stainless steel, no issues with the silver 17PM and scratches, dents, etc. Even after it dropping for the first time last week, no problem. But like any of my phones, I slap a case on it from day one.

Wow ain’t no way that first pic is the 13 vs 17 pro? My goodness the size difference looks crazy that 17 Pro almost looks like the Max.
I have the 17 Pro not the Pro Max. As you can see in the photo I posted the 13 at 6.1 inches is just slightly smaller than the 6.3 inch 17 Pro. :apple:

I have the midnight blue version of the 17 Pro (once again the only model they had in stock in Thailand), so I didn't like the Apple clear case because of the white Mag Safe printed into the plastic. So I went with the new woven case also in midnight blue.Fit and grip is very nice, I like it. Andeddu's photo has the woven case on his orange 17 Pro.
