Amazon is not usually the vendor I would buy an Apple product from. I usually always order through Apple directly.

However, I want to apply an Amazon $350 Gift Card toward the purchase of an entry Studio.

Amazon hasn't had any models in stock for quite some time. I am wondering if this is going to be the trend or just temporary suppy constraints.

Anyone recently buy a STUDIO through Amazon? I am trying to gauge when the last time they had stock.

I was waiting for it to appear on Amazon and it never happened. I think in the Uk you can get the Max, but not the Ultra. Currently in the UK they have the Max base model for £1999 which is same as Apple, so I wouldn't bother. Usually you can safe a few hundred e.g. in the case of MacBooks. The Mac Studio Max is not sold by Amazon, but is coming from the Amazon warehouse, hence why there's no discount.

When sold and supplied by Amazon they tend to do good payment plans where you can spread over 5 or 12 months with no interest or credit check. I don't think you can use their gift cards with these payment plans, though.

I also don't think you can upgrade the RAM, but it seems like sometimes you can specify colour and SSD size.

I would have no problem ordering a Mac product from Amazon, as long as they are actually the seller.

Thank you, Sharky.

I am being optimistic. The product is listed. I just don't know the last time it was in stock.

I would imagine, at some point, Amazon will get stock in. It may take a few more weeks. I'll hold out, that is unless a seller drops the base model to $1799 which happens quite often.

Costco has the base Max and Ultra Studios in stock and available for delivery by Thursday.

Thanks for that info.

I could easily buy from Costco but I am more interested in using my Amazon Gift Card against that vendor purchase

If you only want a standard spec in the U.K., John Lewis can be good as they give better warranties. Bit I agree if Amazon themselves are selling it then it's fine. They have good customer service.
