Did anyone else just get a text....

Did anyone else just get a text from AT&T that says:

AT&T Free Msg: Connect with friends and family by adding pictures and videos to your text messages. Don't forget you can also instant message from your phone.

I tried sending a picture message, but it failed. Curious if anyone else got the same message, and if so, had any luck in sending a picture/video message.

I got this when I first activated. I think it is a standard message from AT&T sent to all data capable devices.

I think it's due to the OP just activating his iPhone.

I activated my iPhone on a new at&t account on the 19th but I never got this message.

I think it's due to the OP just activating his iPhone.

Sorry, had to run to a couple of meetings. I've had this iPhone and account since September of last year, so not a new activation. Probably just a glitch in the system or something, but I was just curious. Thanks to all those who replied with useful info.

I've been to AT&T and activated three different SIMs since getting my 3G S and I've never seen this text.
