I can't find the option to airplay and not mirror display. I tried it with both iPhone 7 and iPad pro with apple tv (4th gen) updated. anyone find a way? Thanks in advance.

Mirroring is separate now. You’ll find what you’re looking for in the media controls in cc. Tap the top right to change destination.

thanks for the reply. the destination isnt the problem. I just couldn't turn mirroring off.

Maybe we’re having a miscommunication or I just didn’t understand your problem. You said, “I can’t find the option to airplay and not mirror display”. What I’m saying is do not use the icon in CC that has the AirPlay icon and says “screen mirroring”. Instead go into the music\media controls in cc and hit the small AirPlay icon in there. That will AirPlay without mirroring.

OK got it now. Thanks for the help and your patience.

No worries. For what it’s worth it confused a lot of people at the start of the beta cycle. Enjoy!
thanks i can't try it now, but i will when i get home.

so when I do what you told me. If i look at the CC where it says "Screen Mirroring", would that message change?

Nope, it's just a seperate function completely now. When you tap the icon I mentioned in the media controls you'll get a list of all audio targets, whether Bluetooth or Airplay. It won't activate or affect that mirroring one at all.
