So I have ordered every make and model since 4/10 and either changed my mind or chased "shipping fast" watches that didn't happen.

My current order no longer lets me cancel even though it shows as a July date. 42MM Stainless link.

It says to call in?

Is this a good sign or Apple telling me to stop cancelling?

Wow. You've ordered every variation and canceled them all? They think you are a scam artist.

I have only had 1 order at a time.

It's their fault.. If they would just ship something.. I would quit changing my mind or being impatient:cool:

Despite probably raising red flags with their ordering system, you keep putting yourself at the back of the line.

Not going to help any seeing how impatient you are...

This was VERY nice of you to do this so we all now know what will happen if we had done this!

I had considered doing something like this but was worried about what would happen if Apple was to become annoyed!

:apple:

I ordered one on Wednesday, my first order. I went to cancel it to order a different one with a faster listed turnaround. I couldn't do it online and had to call in.

FWIW I used a gift card as partial payment and ordered Apple Care. Not sure if either of those factored into having to call in.

Why on earth would you do that? You'd probably have an apple watch a month sooner if you hadn't.

+1

Anywhos, I have a hunch that Watch is going to go out for shipment soon. It tends to stay in processing until it charges to your method of payment, but stops you from cancelling it.

I may be wrong, and this may be Apple's way of telling you to eat it and have to purchase all of your orders, but for some reason I feel like there's some legal gray ground there that Apple is not allowed to do that unless they're actually prepping for shipping. Just call apple, worst case scenario they tell you that you're in violation of their store policies.

We ordered AC+ and had the ability to cancel the order the whole time...up until PFS.

An indiscriminate customer who just buys the first random thing offered is more likely to return it later. That, or they're buying to resell.

Each return is a significant cost to Apple. It wastes their time and money and blocks a real sale to a serious customer. Hardly surprising they want to talk to you.

Are you seriously blaming Apple for your own impatience and inability to decide what to order?

Why not just go to Craig's list. You'll pay a few dollars more, but you'll have your watch. At this point, Apple probably hates you and will never send you a watch.

I have spent enough money over the years that Apple will never hate me.

I have never had to wait more than 2 weeks for any Apple product I wanted including pre-order. Maybe just lucky.

I said that jokingly but Apple has really goofed up this launch.

It might be preparing for shipment, too. Just a thought.

Instant gratification takes to long, huh?

I just ordered an :apple: Watch yesterday, and have a July shipping date. Maybe it will come sooner, but knowing Apple as I do it won't come later. I can wait. I am currently wearing a Kickstarter Pebble watch. From the time I ordered it until I received it was 1year and 9 days. I went through some impatient times at first, but then just waited it out.

The lesson I learned was that anticipation can be as much fun and sometimes more fun than the actual receiving of the item.

Some philosopher may be able to phrase the above sentence better.

It means you are banned for life. Looks like you'll just have to start ordering Samsung phones and watches now!!

If you would quit changing your mind or being impatient, then Apple might actually ship something :rolleyes:
