iPhone 16 Pro Did AT&T just decrease trade-in value for 12 Pro?

I swear AT&T was offering $999 trade in value for a 12 Pro to 16 Pro as recently as yesterday. When I looked today, it's down to $700. Did I miss the boat?

I'm trying to decide whether to switch from Verizon to AT&T. Does anyone know if Verizon will be dropping their trade-in values any time?
