I recently got 3 macs:
I traded 2 300 GB HDD I wasnt using for 2 iMac G4(1 working iMac G4 1Ghz 17 in with 1 GB HDD and 160 GB HDD, no optical drive, and 1 non-working iMac G4 1.25 Ghz(USB 2.0))

I also just purchased a macbook 13"(white) 1.83 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2 GB Memory and a 60 GB HDD with working optical drive Model A1181 for $85 and it works perfect.

The MacBook is an excellent deal. It may not run Lion, but it will run Snow Leopard just fine, and if you add a new 7200rpm 500 GB drive, it will be quite close to a brand new computer.

MacBook 1.83ghz Core 2 Duo

The Macbook will run Lion fine. Well, as fine as Lion works with its flaky wi-fi etc.
You can upgrade it to 3gb RAM too which will get the best out of it.

Really, so it can run Lion? Mactracker said the highest was 10.6.8 i think.
Adding a 500 GB HDD would be very nice, the 60 GB fills too fast making me have to keep music library on my iMac, when I get a new HDD I will just need to make sure to have an up to date backup on my ext using time machine. Curious is there a way to restore OS and files at once or do I just need to run the Mac OSX Install then Restore from Time Machine?

I am slowly getting keyboard shortcuts down, I still gotta figure a safe way to remove my battery, its currently stuck in there

Excellent deal on all three i would say, best has to be the macbook but defo put a bigger HD in it.
