Did it take several updates for autocorrect to get as good as it was in iOS 5/6?

It is significantly worse now, I have to manually correct words constantly that it used to recognize with no problem. It's extremely frustrating dealing w such a big downgrade.

I haven't had this issue. Autocorrect seems to work the same as it did in iOS 5/6. You can always add commonly used words to the shortcuts in the keyboard settings. Just set the shortcut and phrase as the same thing.

That would be ok if it were one or two words, but it's literally 1/4 words.
