I plugged my iPod touch into my iMac about three hours ago, simply to charge rather than use iTunes. I checked an hour later and it was fine, up to mid-green levels, but now I've come back to it and it has somehow gone back to low red. Is there a problem with it and if so then is there a known solution?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Do a search on "calibrate battery display".

Also - make sure your USB hub is still on (not powered down or in "safe mode" due to over-current)

Perhaps one of your apps hung up, and nailed the processor / display at maximum?

There are a few threads on here, I'd suggest a little digging. 🙂
