Did Tethering and MMS screw up my Texting?

No one is getting any of my texts and I can't receive texts either.

Not sure what to do. I just started this new line a couple hours ago, can that be a factor?

I used the same methods and my texting still works. Try turning off the iPhone, taking out the sim card, putting the sim card back in, starting the phone again.

It seems to have affected my family plan because my mom can't send/recieve either.
