So this morning when i went and got the paper, I found something interesting in Sunday's Best Buy insert...

The $1199 13" MBP is listed with specs that do not fit the model, any other MBP, for that matter. Here are the specs:

-2.6 GHz intel core 2 duo
-nvidia geforce 9400m with 256mb DEDICATED graphics memory
-Still 2GB ram and 160 GB harddrive

is this a typo? Doesn't seem that likely. For anybody who wants to check, it's on page 3 of the best buy insert. I would post a pic, but I'm on my iPhone.

The apple site is still the same, but this is the SUNDAY insert.

Update: maybe it is a typo, but that doesn't explain the dedicated graphics memory

Typo most likely, if it hasn't updated on the Apple website then it probably won't have updated elsewhere...

But why would it say the GPU is dedicated?

They've clearly mixed in some features of the higher end 15"/17" machine in these specs.

my guess would be that they didn't have an IT guy type up the ad, just a marketing guy. He got mixed up between the two, probably

You have pasted "dedicated GPU RAM" not dedicated GPU. This means that the GPU has 256 mb of ram of it's own.

Yeh think they've gotten confused and thrown in speccs from the 15" MBP
