Same. I just deleted the app free updating, then reinstalled Facebook. Now it works. Try that to see if you can log in. Hope that helps.

biteSMS installed? I updated and all I got were error messages. Deleted the app, re-downloaded, and now I can't log in.

Which in other words, makes biteSMS virtually useless. I don't know of anyone who uses biteSMS JUST for a secondary messaging app and not for quick compose or quick reply.

I've had no problems with the two updates i installed today.

For people with problems, were you logged into Facebook prior to installing the update or logged out?

What is it about BiteSMS that's stopping the FB login process, I wonder. Very interesting. I can confirm that disabling BiteSMSsb does enable FB to work, re-enabling BiteSMSsb breaks it again.

Both. If your logged in, you just get error messages on every page. If your logged out, you can't log in.

But, I have biteSMS installed. I don't know if theres any issues with it for the people without jailbroken phones.

    Same thing:

I was logged in: "could not open page".
    Logged out: "cannot connect"
    Deleted and reinstalled: "cannot connect"

    Jailbreaked with biteSMS.

    Where do I do this?

If you have SBSettings installed, open it by swiping the status bar, go to "more", find "Mobile Substrate Addons", then find "biteSMSsb", and turn it off.

But by doing this, you disable biteSMS pop up features such as quick reply or quick compose.

The reason i ask is i updated facebook a while back when I wasn't logged in and had the same problems. Prior to that I installed logged in and it went smoothly.

Maybe bitesms is conflicting with facbook's push in some manner?

    And that makes it work?

Hmm.. I hope either facebook or biteSMS releases some patch...

I highly doubt its push. I don't use push for Facebook. I just manually update. And I don't see how that would be a problem since every other app works well with it.

Yeah it works but I don't see how it would effect Facebook in any way. Facebook isn't going to fix a jail break problem. And I really don't know if biteSMS can do anything about it.

I am a jailbroken user on the iPhone 4 and i also updated to the 3.2.1 facebook and it still did not work. I DO NOT have BiteSMS installed. I read on another forum to use SBSettings, go into more -> mobile substrate addons -> then toggle iPhoneDeliveryMS to OFF. This solved the problem for me. I'm not quite sure what toggling this off does to my phone though, does anyone know?

Like I said in a above post, it's basically useless.

Don't bother trying to help them. They're only having problems because they have jailbroken phones.
