After the update Ventura 3.2.1 -> 3.3, my Stage Manager doesn't work anymore! It's all grayed in the settings pane.
Do others have this too? Come on Apple, this isn't serious!!

EDIT: Is there a way from the Terminal to force the OS to activate the Stage Manager?

So no problem then? 🙃
Sorry I didn't updated my previous message. The Stage Manager is back and working as before. I simply wasn't aware that I needed to restart one more time after a setting activation...

As a real Stage Manager, let me say this app does the title no favours.

And in my case, I have the Dock on the left side of my screen (taking advantage of width vs depth), but that places the thumbnails on the right - blotting out the drives and folders I have there. You can turn off these drives and folders when using Stage Manager, so the blotting out isn't an issue. But then you lose access to those hidden items. This helps how?

There appears to be no way to have Stage Manager recognize Dock on left and cheat the thumbnails over a bit to allow for that.
On the plus side, it has had allowed me to say, 'Screw this' and shift back to the long-forgotten F6...
