Did they put serial numbers on the leather cases?

I noticed that there is a string of numbers on the box below the UPC code, and a DIFFERENT string of numbers just below the camera hole on the inside of the case. The numbers do not match.

Are these individualized serial numbers for each case? Meaning they are tracking every case sold now by an individualized number??

Look on the inside just under the camera cutout. What is that set of numbers?

The one on the case starts with P53. And the one on the box starts with G95

My saddle brown has a different number under the camera cutout, so possibly.
