just under $600 for a brand new iphone 6, i am on a BYOD plan so this is the cheapest option at the time for the space gray color, the gold was selling for only $550 but space gray is the only color i wanted

I got it on contract and realized I made the wrong choice after researching the 2 year savings so I called ATT to switch to Next but they said it was too late. So I paid $325 contract cancellation.

Hmm... I didn't know they'd do that. I should do it for my son's 6 plus.

They don't charge sales tax in Hawaii? Some states like California charge sales tax on the full retail price even when purchasing on contract.

After trading in my 5S for $300, I upgraded to an iPhone 6 using AT&T NEXT (18). Now I'm contract free. My next phone upgrade will definitely be unlocked and at full retail. It has been such an annoyance this time around with upgrade dates and eligibility resetting. I can't deal with it anymore.

I traded in my 16 GB iPhone 5 to T-Mobile last week and got $271, and at the same time they were having a $50 off upgrade deal so I'm ending up paying $329 over 2 years, which is only about $13 added to my phone bill a month.
