Just heard from some people that preordered from Apple yesterday with a shipment confirmation for June 24th got an email today saying it will ship on July 2nd. What a load.

Depends on what time they ordered. I believe if the order were placed after 1PM EST, then the shipment date was changed.
I ordered mine at 7:42 PM PDT at Apple Store online and it says Ships: By July 2nd even though when I placed the order it said June 24th delivery.
Mine was place at 4:45pm PST and so far no change. I guess it will be changed to july 2?
yea, this is someone who read the article on gizmodo, and edited the word ATT with the word Apple and is now sending out bad rumours. I ordered 3 after 3pm PST yesterday and I have yet to get any such email.
Lots of emails for people ordering through ATT's website.

This really sux. This could change for any of us at anytime. I even reserved one at the Apple store as a back up but something tells me that won't happen either. Oh well what can you do.

There was a brief period between orders that still listed buyiphone.apple.com as having iPhones delivered by June 24th, but if you viewed your cart it would say July 2nd (I saw this from my cart and the pre-order page). Imagine it took some time to make sure all the dates were changed, hence the discrepancy.
This article talks about the new orders being July 2nd. Nothing about committed Apple orders that were promised on the 24th and now being pushed to the 2nd.
Regardless, if my order gets changed I really wont care too much, I have a feeling even if I get my phone the 24th, and wait till I get home from work, and then wait even longer and try to activate it, some server disaster similar to yesterdays will prevent me from even enjoying it. July 2nd and beyond people, take solace in the fact that you probably wont have to deal with a useless iphone 4
People I am not trying to give out mis information here this happend to a couple of coworkers and to someone in this thread. Just wanted to get an idea of who got moved to July 2nd and what time they pre ordered from apple.com.

I ordered two phones from Apple's site. One order was at 1:38 PM PT and the other at 2:40 PM PT. My confirmation e-mails arrived at 5:53 PM PT with a 6/24 delivery date. I have not received any additional e-mails or changes to the original information. <fingers crossed>
Fail? I'm just passing on what I heard from other people who have placed pre-orders, whether or not you believe it is inconsequential to me. I reserved mine, gives me time to mull it over up until launch day.

I was trying since they brought the store back up I must have tried to order 100 times. Then I noticed one actually made it to my cart and i just checked out.
that 1pm time was the rumored AT&T time which I still think isn't true for even them.
