Difference between 3G and 3GS on OS 4

I'd also be curious to know what parts of 4.0 3G and 2nd gen iPod Touch owners will not get. My wife has a 2nd Gen iPod Touch, and I know she won't get multitasking, but what else? Is that the only difference, or are there others, so far?

Why wouldn't she get the multitasking? Isn't the upgrade the same for everyone as long as you have a compatible device?

No. The iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2nd generation are not getting a few features, multitasking is one of them.
