Difference between .MAC and ILIFE?

    what is the difference? does .mac have garageband?

    iLife is the application suite.

    .Mac isn't an application or suite; it's simply a group of online services that compliment iLife (but is absolutely not necessary). It costs $99 every year (as opposed to a one-time software license fee).

    If you're looking for GarageBand, you want iLife.

    .mac is a web service that compliments iLife. iLife is a suite to manage your digital life.
