difference between MB604 and MC226?

    hey ,i was so obsessed cos i wanna buy a 17 inch mbp ,the original plan is MB604,but now the new 17inch MC226 jumped out immediatly,i don't know what to do now ,so i wanna ask "is it the right time to buy MC226 or MB604",

    Yes, it is. Why would you even consider the old gen? Buy the updated one :)

    cos MB604 is better than 226 as opposed to cost performance

    They are selling refurb ones on apple for 2000.

    If you are on some type of budget, I would consider a model such as:

    But if money is no issue, then I would definitely get the latest and greatest.

    I went with a refurb 2.53 MBP and I used the extra savings to buy a 256 high speed SSD

    I've been wondering the same thing...but based on everything I read the changes appear to be minor...I just ordered a 17" refurb 2.93Ghz last Saturday...can't wait for it to arrive!

    cool, so ,i decided to buy the old one ,604,lol,i can save a lot of money which will be used to buy a 3GS,wow!

    thankyou ,but i wanna buy a new MB604,cos this upgrate happened in june is too accident and there are a lot of 604 in the supplyer's warehouse ,we don't need to buy a refurb one ,we just buy a new one,lol.
    anyway ,you are so good at scheme ,and it's a good way to buy a 256SSD , pretty cool!
