Difference between OpenFirmware, BIOS and EFI

Hello!

Can someone explain me the difference between OpenFirmware, BIOS and EFI?

And why is BIOS so bad in comparision with OpenFirmware and EFI?

As a beginning to learning this, did you try reading about each in Wikipedia? While not the ultimate authority on anything, I find Wikipedia is a good place to start, especially when learning basics.
