difference between the old and new wireless keyboard

Are there any differences between the 2007 model and 2009 model of the apple wireless keyboard besides 2 battery vs 3 battery and auto shutoff ?

You listed all the differences. I don't know what battery life is like on both models though, they may have improved battery life on the newer one.

The keyboard doesn't exactly turn off. It sort of goes into sleep mode. When the computer restarts, it wakes the keyboard.


So far my battery life has been great. I've had the same alkaline batteries in it for two months and they're so far at 75%.

The bluetooth keyboard have always had a sleep function, the battery drain was only made smaller in the new version.
