I'm a new user in the Mac world just switch from PC to the Mac. My question is what is the difference between the two softwares Toast and Toast with Jam. Are there different features etc.....

One tastes better than the other?

I use Toast Titanium 5 and IIRC the Jam just adds some extra audio stuff. I don't think you're going to need it. Toast is a nice piece of software.

Jam is more of an audio mastering tool. get it, Jam? It's a small bit of software but you can do things like set track cut points and do crossfades.
