Is there a big difference in performance between CS2 and CS3 on an iMac? We use InDesign for our design work for my school's yearbook. It is costly to upgrade, so I was wondering how much gain in performance do people really see?
CS3 is more responsive than CS2 on Intel hardware.
The changes to InDesign are relatively minor, although the capacity to Place multiple images with a single command is a real time saver.
I'd say it's well worth the investment if you use it every day, and especially if you are using an Intel iMac.
We are using it on an Intel based iMac.......3 stations will have Tiger(10.4.x) and 1 station will have Leopard(10.5.x) It is a matter of cost. The upgrades cost a lot of money that I'd rather not spend if possible.
I was curious how much of a boost you would get by upgrading to CS3.
