Differences Between Early 2011 and Late 2011 17 inch MBP?

Nothing through the roof.

They are simply newer processors, a tad bit more power efficient, thus the higher clock speed.

The graphics card is slightly faster.

Nothing major.

same processor family, slightly new so can be clocked slightly faster

for $300 more i would stick with the Early 2011

They are already so powerful that it is not significant and you will not notice a difference at all unless you were to run benchmarks otherwise it would be impossible to notice anything ever.
