To some. Not to me. I got the space gray and black band aluminum sport. The frustration is that you cannot get a black stainless without spending $1K, which is crazy.

Depends. Originally I bought the 42SG, and received it this week; however, I wanted to be 100% certain I actually loved the watch to upgrade to SS; I do. So, here I am, getting rid of the highly popular 42SG for a 38/42 SS. I'm still not sure which size I'll stick with.

I was already in the market for a SS watch, and didn't want to purchase an AWS + a non-Apple SS watch...why do that when can have the best of both worlds w/ the Apple Watch SS.

In my case, it just made sense. I can't speak for others, though.
