So I'm pretty sure this is a different issue than the rampant 'family sharing' problems, but if I'm wrong someone feel free to direct me the right way.

As most people know you cannot move existing purchases and content from an existing iTunes account to an active iCloud account. I've kept my app store ID on my old email which had years of purchased content, but my "main" Apple ID tied to my phone, iMessage, iCloud, etc. is a new one I've created.

This has served me very well thus far, but with Apple Music I'm unfortunately at a crossroad. When I log into there with my "main" Apple ID, on the app store end it logs me under the same name. Unfortunately that means none of my purchases are tied to the account and I won't be able to restore purchases or see updates. I'd really like to keep everything coordinated, so if I can I don't want to have to use my old iTunes account associated with Apple Music.

Can anyone give me some tips?
