So I was thinking the other day.

Say you've got a different set of headphones (other than the ones supplied) plugged into your iPhone, and listening to your music/videos. Someone calls you. Do you have to unplug them and click answer call, or what happens?

I just assumed you would have to unplug them and answer it.

i would assume the phone can determine if there is a headset with a mic plugged in versus regular headphones. i dunno though. i don't think you'll have to unplug them but you'll definitely have to physically accept the call on the screen and of course speak into the handset.

Maybe you'll be able to listen through the headphones, and talk into the iPhone.

Judging by pictures though, the Apple supplied headphones/mic go into one port.

This is what I was wondering as well. My earphones cost more than the iPhone and I'll be damned if I'm going to use the cheap @$$ ones that they provide.

I am hoping that if headphones are plugged in, that the ringtone will be able to be heard through the headphones. Once we accept the call, I hope that we can hear the caller through the headphones and simply talk into the iPhone mic.

I'll be happy if it works something like that.
