Didn't see this posted before, and just thought it was odd. I was looking for my iPad, so I pulled up Find My on my Mac, and noticed that the Satellite view had been updated to show some recent additions we did to the house. Later on, typing in directions to somewhere, I noticed that Maps uses a much older satellite view of our house (like at least 6 years old).

I understand that they are separate apps, but I guess I assumed that the Find My app just overlaid data onto whatever map the Maps app uses. I'm sure there is some technical issue I"m not considering, but wouldn't it be more efficient for Apple to use one set of maps for all of their mapping needs?
