Ordered an Apple Watch 4 on launch day and decided to return it when it was preparing to be shipped. I called Apple to cancel the order so I could get the refund as soon as possible. I wasn't expecting it to be shipped. They shipped it anyway via UPS and it started its normal route to my address but on delivery day 9/21 I received a notification from UPS saying that they did a Proactive Response, intercepted the package, changed the address and re routed it back to Apple. Since then the watch has traveled back and forth making stops in Louisville, Orlando, Jacksonville and Miami as you can see in the image below. I have got emails saying "We've incorrectly sorted this package which may cause a delay." I've talk to both Apple and UPS and all they say is the address change has been done successfully and I have to wait. The wait so far has been a whole week. One entire week to move a package from Miami to Mount Juliet, TN. This is really frustrating since nobody seems to be doing something to solve my problem. Has anybody experienced something like this before?
