After checking this on my M1 MBP 12.5.1 it looks like Apple has not updated their camera support since May 2021 with the GH5 Mark II! 😖 Other cameras released since then and still awaiting native Apple support...It's not listed under - About this Mac > System Report > Raw Support like in Monterey?

I just checked and my Sony a7m4 raw files are not supported on a latest official macOS Ventura. Also iOS 16.1 won’t show them. Is there an update I have to wait for in order their claim to become true?Well, it's official now, Apple just published their official RAW support list yesterday (dated Nov. 1, 2022)...
Digital camera RAW formats supported by iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and macOS Ventura - Apple Support
https://support.apple.com/en-mide/HT213267
...and there's no native RAW support in Ventura for the following cameras released since Monterey last year (alphabetical by manufacturer this time)...
Fujifilm X-H2, X-H2S, GFX 50S II, X-T30 II
Hasselblad X2D 100C
Leica M11
Nikon Z30
Olympus Pen E-P7
OM System OM-5
Panasonic GH6, BS-1H
Ricoh GR IIIX
Sony ZV-1F, FX-30, ZV-E10. a7R V
...which jibes with the Ventura/Monterey RAW list comparison provided earlier in this thread.

Apple Photos. Tried Lightroom Classic and it showed same images without problem. Actually.. exported them from Apple Photos and then imported into Lightroom Classic.Hi jannolii,
Well, that's interesting to read, seeing how Apple specifically lists the camera in the linked post, and that it shows up in the Ventura RAW Support list from Ventura that was supplied to me.
I'm curious, what Apple software are you using that's not opening your ILCE-7M4 RAW files? (I.e. Apple Photos, Preview, etc.?)

The strangest thing just happened… Photos on iPhone (iOS 16.1) just started to show those RAW files. I didn’t do anything to get it working. It just happened by itself. Apple Photos on macOS Ventura still don’t show them.Hi jannolii,
