Digital Copy-Blu-Ray to iPhone...help!!!

I download my digital copy of Dark Knight to my iTunes library. Is there an easy way to transfer it to my iPhone within iTunes or do I need to get a dvd copy and use handbrake or the like? It seems if I can download it into iTunes, it should transfer onto my iPhone as video. Why would would it allow me download into iTunes and then not automatically sync? Thanks~Shawn.

it should just sync to your iphone afaik
I've bought a couple of films from itunes store and had no trouble with getting them onto the device.

Even if I create a playlist and drag the movie down, it still doesn't sync with my iPhone.
