I just purchased painterphoto4 essentials to convert my photos into paintings, how can I create a signature for them. Do I need a tablet? if so, which one should I get that that works with my imac and is low priced but fairly good...

Thank you

If you have a scanner and photoshop, here is a great tutorial.

I found using a tablet really cumbersome to make a signature, perhaps because i'm left handed. Plus you can't tell if you're going to be straight or not.

If you do want to get a tablet, the wacom bamboo is decent and fairly cheap at around $79.

If you want something higher than that you would have to go to the intuos, which I think is around $250 to start.

I would like to be able to create a signature and then just stamp (copy) it onto the paintings I create... ?

Also does anyone know how to convert a RIF into a jpeg...
