Dimmed Brightness

so sometimes when im using my mac the brightness dims down on its own. i brighten it back up again when i hit the button but i dont know, has this happened to anyone else?

That is normal, as it has an ambient light sensor that will adjust the brightness to light conditions. If you would like that to stop, just uncheck the box in System Preferences -> Displays.
